Edward Massood Speaks at the AHFA Logistics Conference
Edward Massood, CEO of Massood Logistics, recently spoke at the AHFA logistics conference "Navigating into the future" held in Wilmington, NC. Massood was a member of industry leaders who comprised a panel of experts who conducted a Q & A session for attendees.
Massood answered questions about the importance of 3PL services and how to choose the perfect 3PL partner for your online or brick & mortar business. Key to the discussion were questions about speed of delivery and other consumer demands.
"Today's consumer wants it right and they want it right now!" Massood explained.
He went on to explain how efficient operational systems could increase speed of delivery and rescue returns. He also underscored the importance of freight consolidation to conserve time and fuel as merchandise is picked up from several suppliers at different locations and times.
He also announced his plans to launch a new company to provide freight consolidation services to the trade... the firm will be known as Massood Furniture Transport.
The conference, sponsored by the AHFA, was a sell-out success.
