Greater Metropolitan Furnishings Assn.’s Dinner and Dance
GMFA Gala 2019: Honoring Industry Leaders, Including Massood’s Edward MassoodThree industry leaders, John Garg, Edward Massood and Stuart Carlitz recently received top honors at the annual Greater Metropolitan Furnishings Association’s Dinner and Dance on November 23rd, 2019.
Over 200 furniture retailers, representatives and industry suppliers were on hand to celebrate the evening that included a memorable cocktail hour, fine dining, dinner and dancing. More information about the recipients and the event can be seen in the commemorative journal prepared to celebrate the occasion.
Ron Cooper, the President of GMFA and master of ceremonies for the evening commented, “The dinner dance was a wonderful end to a successful year for the Greater Metropolitan Furnishings Association. In addition to the benefits and outreach GMFA provides to members, our networking events serve to create a sense of community and collaboration for the furniture industry in the greater New York/ New Jersey/ Connecticut trading area.”
Harris Kirsch, GMFA’s co-president said, “GMFA’s officers and directors would like to thank this year’s honorees and the members of GMFA for their support. I know it’s a cliché, but it’s true that a great time was had by all at this year’s gala.”
